DNS over QUIC, in the long run
a long-term view of DNS-over-QUIC adoption and its performance — CISPA, summer 2023
Visiting Researcher, CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security (Summer 2023) Hanover, Germany — in Vaibhav Bajpai’s research group.
This work studied the global uptake and performance of the DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) protocol, and was later published in IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management:

- Applied computer network security knowledge to study the global uptake and performance of DNS over QUIC.
- Analyzed two years of measurement data using Python to assess resolver adoption trends and protocol-level performance.
- Created all visualizations for the study, including time series plots, adoption breakdowns, and latency comparisons across major DNS resolvers.
